We are very happy to announce the birth of AIBeez – “Association for the Promotion of Artificial Intelligence in Health and Engineering Sciences in Erlangen e.V.” New members who want to support AI research for biomedicine in Erlangen are very welcome!

In our joint retreat with the DaiSyBio group (TUM) in Peschiera del Garda, we had inspiring talks and discussions on hot topics and off topics in computational systems biology, ran two hackathons, and engaged in a series of team building events.

Klaudia’s poster presentation of our recently published systems medicine validation tool DIGEST won the best poster award at GCB 2022.

Our paper “Querying Temporal Anomalies in Healthcare Information Systems and Beyond” won the best paper award at ADBIS 2022!

David was awarded as best PhD student of the 2015 to 2019 cohort by the Faculty of Computer Science of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
